Everyone in Ruiterbosch is anxious about Mrs J’s welfare. Mymoena worries about losing Rhafiek and Danni is dreading her magazine interview.

Emma’s mom asks Michelle to be a mediator between her and her daughter and this upsets Michelle even more. Rhafiek makes a decision and an unexpected visitor shows up at Mrs J’s bedside.

The article on Danielle is published and she is upset about the content. Rhafiek’s application for the apartment is approved, while Mymoena is adamant to bid Mrs J farewell.

Danielle hates the new spotlight on her life and Tyron has to make a difficult decision. Mymoena helps Rhafiek with his new adventure, while Bernice wants to visit Emma.

Michelle starts wondering if she’s doing the right thing with Emma. Lee-­Ann takes Bridgette to task about her attitude but doesn’t get far. Danni is in for the shock of her life.

Danielle’s father brings new revelations, and the Du Plooys are shocked. Tyron receives bad news about his stem cell donation, while Ronald comes up with a suggestion that makes Mrs J wonder.

The Jacobs sisters are furious when they find out that Wade and Tyron visited Mrs J, while Mymoena worries about Rhafiek. Michelle wonders about Emma’s true feelings and Simon causes trouble for Danielle.

Tim tries to prevent the story about Danni from being published and there is an unexpected turn of events. Bridgette and Lee-­Ann have a sisterly moment, while Stefan is disappointed on Valentine’s day.

Michelle doesn’t know if she has the courage to say goodbye to Emma. Carmen invites Mymoena and AB for dinner at Rhafiek’s apartment, and the results of Mrs J’s transplant are revealed.

Mrs J’s loved ones organise a surprise for her, while Carmen has serious hostess stress. Danielle tries a different way to get through to her father and Michelle has a very tough day.

Stefan gives an ultimatum but it has the opposite effect he hoped for, while Mymoena is concerned that Rhafiek has lost his moral compass. Chris decides to take matters into his own hands and confronts Simon.

Simon tries to make peace with Danielle, but Tim doubts his sincerity. Mrs J invites Ronald for an intimate dinner, while Carmen runs into big trouble with Mymoena.

Carmen is worried about what the Samsodiens think of her, while Danni and Simon try to make up for lost time. Mrs J invites the Octobers for dinner, and Stefan tries to discover Michelle’s real feelings about the divorce.

Simon surprises Danni with an offer and Ronald takes Mrs J on an outing, upsetting both her daughters. Mymoena reprimands Rhafiek and that causes trouble between him and Carmen.

Ian calls a meeting to pitch “his” idea for a bar, causing more strife in the family. Carmen distances herself from Rhafiek, and Danielle tries to persuade her father to pay her brother a visit.

Ian’s plans for the bar are wreaking havoc, while Simon makes a surprising request. The Samsodiens want to support Rhafiek, but he shocks them.

AB learns about Ian’s plans to open a bar, while Mymoena tries to appease their son. Chris is annoyed with Lee-Ann and Simon bids Danielle goodbye ...

Rhafiek and Carmen find themselves at a crossroads, while AB is convinced that he has found a way to stop Ian’s plans. Bridgette receives a big gift but she is unaware of the implications.

AB organises a protest against Ian’s new bar, but the Octobers fight back. Carmen and Rhafiek struggle with the new nature of their relationship, while the Gerbers are fighting with their personal devils as well as everyone around them.

Rhafiek and Carmen wonder if they made the right decision and Ronald unwittingly plants an idea in Siya’s mind. Mymoena is nervous about her speech, while Bridgette worries about the protest action.

Mrs J has a fallout with AB and Mymoena regarding the protest. Carmen and Rhafiek struggle to keep their hands off each other, and Ian addresses the protestors to try and change their opinion.

Mrs J and Bridgette ask Ian to have another talk with the Samsodiens about the bar. Ronald is worried about Siya and Michelle getting too close, while Stefan wants to show Stella off to his parents.

Ian brings the bar launch forward and involves Zoe, which upsets everyone, especially Bridgette. Siya decides to distance himself from Michelle, but she makes it difficult. Carmen gets a surprise visit.

Bridgette attempts to reconcile with Zoe and AB finds a way to put a stop to the opening of Ian’s bar. Wade and Tyron start suspecting that Siya and Michelle have feelings for each other, while Carmen’s friend makes her wonder about her life in Ruiterbosch.

Ian is determined that his bar will open as scheduled, and has a big surprise up his sleeve. Rhafiek reaches out to Carmen, while Zoe and Danielle are competing with each other once again.

The bar’s successful opening has consequences for various members of the Ruiterbosch community. Michelle has to go to court for the divorce decree, but Stefan wants to stop her. Ciska makes Carmen doubt the direction her life has taken.

Ronald and Siya argue over Michelle, while Stefan tries to continue with his life after the divorce. Carmen and Rhafiek’s relationship is tested once again and Tyron receives an unexpected offer.

Ian finds out Eugene Oosthuizen is a man to be reckoned with. Carmen makes a difficult decision, while Siya and Michelle wonder about the road forward.

Ronald has important news to share with Mrs J. Michelle asks Bianca not to tell Stefan about her and Siya. Ian orders Tyron to let him know if Eugene shows up at The Bridge again.

Mrs J finds out about the problems in Ronald’s congregation. Tim suggests Danielle confronts Zoe, while Zoe is off-loading on Ian. Bianca sets an ultimatum for Siya and Michelle.

Stefan confronts Siya about his relationship with Michelle, and Ronald needs to make a decision about his future in Ruiterbosch. Ian is suspicious about strange visitors at the bar.

Everybody is up in arms after the incident at The Bridge. After a discussion with Lee-Ann, Michelle decides to stand up for herself. Mrs J and Ronald find themselves saying goodbye again...

Siya and Michelle have a big fight about the previous evening, while Ian finds out who is responsible for the attack on Bianca. Mrs J is lonely without Ronald.
